Golden Eagles and Vultures
Bulgaria is a country that in our opinion will fast be moving up the agenda of the serious wildife photographer in Europe as it offers a glimpse of how rural existence and nature have managed to co-exist hand in hand. Our central and southern Bulgarian destinations offer the chance to wait patiently for some incredible close up experiences with wild Golden eagle and Griffon Vultures as they visit specially prepared hides courtesy of our local photographic guide Emil Enchev who we have worked with on numerous occasions. With the additional opportunity to photogrpah some elusive small birds including Hawfinch and Lesser Spotted Woodpecker this trip gives both a contrast between majestic large species and delicate small ones, and an insight into the potential this country really has to offer.
