Accommodation: We will be staying at a very comfortable local guest house, ideally situated for our early starts, with rooms on a shared basis.
Level of Fitness: We will be spending 12 or so hours each day in our individual hides and it can be very cold too, so reasonable stamina is the requirement rather than fitness as such. LEVEL 3

Cranes, Cranes and more Cranes
A sky or field full of Cranes is truly a sight to behold, and with the vast majority of Northern Europe's Cranes migrating through Lake Hornborga in Sweden each Spring this short and focussed break will literally put you right in the midst of them. You'll spend two long but amazing days in your own wooden hide in the middle of their day time feeding areas where arriving before dawn and the birds you'll be fantastically positioned for flight shots, courting pairs and a whole host of behavioural opportunities as the days activities unfurl in front and around you quite often literally with birds just a few metres away. We'll also look to have an evening and morning session from the roadside too for those big skyful shots on our first and last days in a short, focussed and jam-packed Easter break with a difference.
