Accommodation: Our newly purpose built accommodation offers an excellent combination of comfort and the practical electronics (including wi-fi access) todays professional photography dictates.
Level of Fitness: The walks to the hides can involve deep snow and steep climbs, but rarely more than 10 minutes in length. Days in the appropriately equipped hides can involve up to 10 hour sessions, so a decent level of stamina and fitness is necessary. LEVEL 4

Northern Winter Wildlife
There can surely be no more dramatic an experience for a wildlife photographer than the swooping in front of you of a wild Golden Eagle or White-Tailed Eagle, as you sit in a snow-covered landscape carefully capturing the experience on your camera. The same applies to seeing the first light of dawn appear in a forest clearing where a wild Goshawk is perched in front of you at their plucking post. Add the chance to enjoy photographing Red Squirrel and small forest birds including Bullfinch and Crested Tit into the mix and you can see why a trip to the renowned wildlife photography set-ups of Ole Martin-Dahle have so much to offer. We've added a day trip to a Roe Deer and Moose feeding hide and an arctic zoo where we will have sole access into the enclosures to photograph Lynx, Wolf and Arctic Fox and Red Fox in their snow-covered enclosures too - all in all a true northern winter wildlife spectacular with a fantastic variety of images to aspire to in a jam packed trip.
