Natures Images

Natures Images is a wildlife photographic workshop, mini-break and holiday business run by professional nature photographers Danny Green and Mark Sisson.

Both are widely-published and successful photographers. Danny can boast recent category and overall success in the Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year (twice in the last 3 years),  International Wild Bird and Natures Best competitions respectively whilst Mark is also a regular writer on wildlife and country matters and has run an ever expanding programme of one-day wildlife workshops for a number of years. We are also pleased to be regular image providers to the RSPB and have both had cover-shots on their quarterly members Birds magazine in 2009: with shots taken on Natures Images trips too!

We set this business up to pass on the benefit of our experience and our passion for what we do to the growing group of like-minded people that we've found ourselves either working with or simply meeting as we travelled and photographed in and around the UK and Europe.

We want to provide people with the chance to take great images of nature, to have an enjoyable experience in the process but to do so in a thoughtful and responsible way that respects the wildlife and environments we will be visiting.

Having the best kit is by no means a guarantee of success or failure respectively in the nature photography world, but the chance to work with a longer lens or a faster camera body may help on some of our trips so we have arranged on a first come first served basis for lens and camera hire options with thanks to The Flash Centre - all part of our attention to detail in our quest to ensure you come home with great experiences, great images and a greater understanding of working with wildlife.

We both run our own independent wildlife photography businesses so if you want to see more of our general work then feel free to visit them at www.dannygreenphotography.com and www.marksissonphoto.co.uk

2010 sees us putting an even bigger range of trips into the mix and since we need a little time at home in between times we're delighted to have the help of a couple of good friends and colleagues to help us in the running of some trips in the busy summer months this year.  Paul Hobson is a leading UK wildlfe photographer and Edwin Kats (who helps us on our Spring Holland trip) is amongst the top names in his country too.  The trips they are running are well known to them and us and you can be equally assured of as great a trip and guidance from them as you'd get from us.  You can see their work at www.paulhobson.co.uk and www.edwinkats-natuurfotografie.nl:80/ respectively.

Finally you'll see a fitness grading on each of our trips - this ranges from 1 to 5, with 1 being relatively little walking/difficult terrain/early morning and late night combinations through to 5 where one or all of these will be significant.  It's not scientific by any means but just our thoughts, and we've tried to indicate which element is influencing our thinking with an accompanying comment.  If you've any questions or concerns on this aspect of any trip then just ask us.

Before you book though we strongly recommend that you've read all the information, itinerary and other details pertinent to the mini-break or holiday you are looking to join us on, and if you have any questions on any aspect of what you've read please either e-mail us or phone us.

Reservations can be made by e-mail or over the phone, but we will only hold that reservation for 14 days pending receipt of  a completed booking form and appropriate deposit.

You can either book online using the booking form link on each holiday page or download a general booking form and post it to us. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. Please make sure that you have read the terms and conditions associated with our trips.

Upon receipt of your booking form and deposit we will confirm your booking (by e-mail or post).  Remaining balances are generally due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday, but you will be notified of the exact date it's due with your confirmation.

Within our terms and conditions we insist that all guests have their own suitable insurance cover.  We must therefore receive a completed and signed insurance indemnity declaration from you prior to the trip commencing. You can download a copy of our insurance indemnity form here and either  post it to us with your either your booking form and deposit or final payment. This only applies to trips involving overseas travel or obvernight accommodation - not one day workshops.

Unless otherwise stated all the images on this site though are taken on trips we are offering through Natures Images.  They are all copyrighted to Danny Green and Mark Sisson respectively.
