Accommodation:  Our rustic accommodation is based on a small Finnish farm and is based on twin rooms with en-suite bathrooms - very comfortable for the remote location offering delicious home cooked food.

Level of fitness:  The walks to the hides will involve walking on tracks through the snow but is only 10 minutes in length.  Days in the appropriately equipped hides can involve up to 10 hour sessions, so a decent level of stamina and fitness is necessary.

Majestic Golden Eagles

There can surely be no more dramatic experiences for a wildlife photographer than the swooping in front of you of a wild Golden Eagle as you sit in a snow-covered landscape carefully capturing the experience on your camera. Our new long-weekend break allows you to obtain images of some of the most iconic species Europe has to offer and it doesn't get any better than wild Golden Eagles. This location in northern Finland is fantastic for capturing Eagles fighting and also in flight. Capturing the antics of the local Ravens is great fun too and in the evenings which offer a great chance of capturing the spectacular Aurora Borealis. All in all true northern winter wildlife spectacular with a fantastic variety of images to aspire to in a jam packed three days of photography.
