Owls and Raptors
This is a jam-packed weekend that will offer you lots of photographic opportunities of a wide variety of birds of prey and owls in a whole array of natural settings. From our Mid Wales base we will mix an afternoon and morning session at the well-established photographic settings of Mid Wales Falconry, giving the opportunity to work with their extensive owl and falcon selection (Tawny, Little, Barn and Long-Eared Owl along with Kestrel, Buzzard and Goshawk are all possibilities). There is a full day's outing accompanied by Peregrine, Merlin, Short-Eared Owl and Hobby to the nearby heather-clad moors for a days static and flight photography in the birds' classic photographic environment. An afternoon's visit to use the best of the hides photographically at the leading Red Kite feeding station nearby will give you the chance to put what you've learned into practice on the final afternoon to finish off a combination of unique locations.
