 RAW Processing weekend

Getting the exposure right, the image sharp and the composition you want at the point when you take the image is without doubt the best practice. Having done so though there’s still a last step to take in turning that digital RAW file into a final image that does justice to your skill and work up until that point, and that is making sure you really get the most out of it with your processing.

In order to open the doors to really achieving this, we have organised two consecutive days of workshops designed to allow you to capture a bank full of images and then work on developing a set of skills and workflows to really get the most out of the RAW files you’ve created. The first day involves a Bird of Prey workshop at the Mid Wales Falconry near Welshpool, and the chance to photograph a wide selection of hawks, owls and falcons in stunning natural settings and in flight, with constant reminders throughout the day on ensuring those exposures are right!  The second day, at the same location, will be run by the trainers from Capture One Complete who will take you through some sound workflows and many time-saving techniques using Capture One Raw Workflow Software, many of the principles of which can be applied to many other RAW converters. Mark Sisson will be on hand during the 2 days as well to talk about his own workflows and insights into using the software for all his processing which he does.
