Natures Images

2009 saw the building of a purpose built hide and photographic feeding station for us to run small group Woodland Bird photography workshops.  The wooden comfortably equipped hide allows for just 3 guests to learn some of the finer arts of managing feeding stations for photographic purposes as well as the opportunity to take some cracking images!

We've been feeding since the autumn now and are regularly visited by a wide variety of species - 4 species of tit, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Goldfinch, Jay, Jackdaw, Nuthatch, Greenfinch, Magpie, Robin and Fieldfare are among the regulars to date and with completely flexible settings in terms of perches, branches, trees, stumps and a lawn area there are endless options throughout the day to change things around for increased variety of shots as well as the almost one-to-one coaching you'll be getting throughout the day too.  All the settings are photographable from the comfort of the hide too!

Group numbers are limited to 3 and the day is priced at £85 with a deposit of £30

This day is ideal for the early enthusiast looking to learn more about the techniques of photographing wildlife, and assuming an SLR with some sort of crop sensor a lens of a minimum focal length of at least 300mm and a tripod will be needed to get the most from the day.

Winter dates for this season are now finished but new dates for this autumns colours are available for booking, with more winter dates to follow soon.
