Highland Winter 2012

This is a new trip that we put together for 2012 as we have had years of experience working ourselves in the Cairngorms region of Scotland, but as a holiday workshop it was new ground but it was one of our most successful trips that we have ran in the UK.  We tapped into the local knowledge of Neil McIntyre as our guide and used his excellent feeding stations for Red Squirrel and Crested Tit which are arguably the best set ups in the UK.  We also got the chance to photograph in the Mountain Regions looking for Ptarmigan, Red Grouse and Snow Bunting which was a great success.  The weather was kind to us all week although we didn't have the snow we had clear skies which offered great light.
