Norfolk Winter Birdlife 2012

Norfolk is the birder's mecca and this three day break in January didn't disappoint. The weather conditions were not in our favour for Barn Owls because of the high winds but we did manage to see this beautiful bird. The light got better as the weekend went on and at times the light was superb. Snow Bunting, Turnstone & Bar Tailed Godwits made an appearance for our camera's but the highlight of the trip was the huge numbers of Knot that were wheeling around the estuary at Snettisham as they tried to find a safe place to sit out the high tide.
