Northern Winter March 2009
A trip to catch the last element of a northern winter in Norway provided a great mix of weather conditions and photographic opportunities, with highlights inluding some memorable early morning sessions in the remote forest hide with the elusive Goshawk (and it even snowed one morning in there too) a stunning display from a visiting Golden Eagle calling and mantling his food as a White-Taile Eagle soared overhead, a beautiful cawing Raven, a terrific Moose encounter and a Polar Zoo session that included Re and Arctic Foxes and some incredible close up Lynx experiences too. This trip is so jam packed and with such quality of opportunity that we've put an extra week on the programme for 2010!
"The last day, alone in the Golden Eagle hide, was a great experience"
"The trip way exceeded my expectations - you gave us the best opportunities to get great pictures of several different species in just a few days"
