Solway Special 2012
January saw a four day break to the Wildfowl & Wetland Trust's Caerlaverock reserve and surrounding areas. This is our fourth year of running this trip and it is one of our favourite locations in the UK. The weather was exceptional with clear skies at night followed by cold frosty mornings. Whooper Swans, Barnacle Geese and Widgeon on ice were the highlights at Caerlaverock, and the trip was topped off by a winter Starling roost at a location nearby with a beautiful sunset.
“I chose this holiday as I wanted a short break away for photography and I am always confident you guys will deliver something special.”
"I found it most enjoyable, it was nice to stay in the Farm House with the whole group together and be able to go as you please."
