Wild-Derbyshire-2

Literally hot off the press,  Paul has launched his first book Wild Derbyshire. It’s been a labour of love for Paul over the last two years and his hard work has paid off with this stunning publication. As you can imagine, he’s excited that his first book has finally turned into reality.

Wild Derbyshire is a celebration of the wild life and wild places of this amazing county. Each chapter explores a habitat type: woodlands, moorlands, limestone dales, water and farmland, with a final chapter about the latest conservation initiatives sweeping across the county.

Throughout the book you will meet a selection of individuals through 1:1 interviews. Named the Derbyshire Custodians, they are a range of people who work in Derbyshire and impact positively on wildlife in varying ways. The custodians include farmers, a river bailiff, a gamekeeper, a forester, an artist, a Wildlife Trust Volunteer, a National Trust ranger and so on, all of whom provide interesting narratives to a selection of Paul’s stunning photographs.
